Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager with a background in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, ideally from manufacturing industries, utilities, or industrial/infrastructure projects. This role requires a blend of technical know-how and client management, enabling seamless execution of maintenance and project jobs. You will be the key bridge between client requirements, vendor capabilities, and internal cross-functional teams to drive job success.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a technical liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of job requirements.
Decode client technical needs based on discussions with the Customer Success Team and project stakeholders.
Analyse technical specifications and assess vendor quotations for cost, feasibility, and compliance.
Use your industry knowledge and network to identify and onboard suitable vendors.
Conduct vendor interactions – clarify requirements, resolve queries, negotiate terms, and finalize scopes of work.
Assess vendors based on past performance, technical capability, and pricing trends to ensure quality and risk-free delivery.
Collaborate with Project Engineers, Technical users, and Procurement Managers to provide job-specific vendor recommendations and flag potential risks.
Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to provide job-specific vendor recommendations and flag potential risks.
Support vendor performance evaluation and build long-term, reliable vendor relationships.
Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by addressing concerns proactively and ensuring delivery excellence.
Qualifications:Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of experience in vendor sourcing, costing, job execution, and project coordination.
Strong understanding of maintenance/project requirements in the manufacturing and utilities sectors.
Proven expertise in technical assessment, cost analysis, and vendor negotiations.
Proficiency in English and Hindi is mandatory; Marathi is a plus.
