Travel Split: 90% Desk / 10% Site Expediting

Job Summary
We are hiring a highly experienced Desk Expeditor to support large-scale Oil & Gas / Renewable Energy projects. This role requires deep expertise in supplier follow-ups, inspection coordination, documentation review, and schedule monitoring. The expeditor with site visits as required, ensuring smooth coordination between Vendors, TPI Agencies, and Client teams.
The candidate must be proactive, technically sound, and capable of managing mulitiple POs across multiple packages with structured reporting and strong stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor vendor manufacturing progress and ensure adherence to committed delivery dates.
Identify delays and implement corrective actions; conduct site visits when required.
Coordinate with TPIA, vendors, and clients for stage-wise inspections as per approved ITP/QAP.
Facilitate inspections, review reports, and ensure closure of NCRs.
Review MTCs, certificates, inspection reports, and vendor documents for compliance.
Issue Release Orders after final document verification and TPI clearance.
Follow up on engineering deliverables and maintain progress records against Purchase Orders.
Conduct vendor review meetings and prepare vendor performance reports.
Handle expediting and inspection of piping bulk, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, packages, and special parts.
Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or related field
4+ years of experience in expediting, inspection coordination, and vendor management.
Proven expertise in managing large PO volumes (100+ POs).
Excellent communication, follow-up discipline, and analytical abilities.
Strong reporting skills, MS Excel proficiency, and experience in digital expediting tools.
Ability to coordinate with senior vendor stakeholders and navigate complex project environments.
